They really do a fantastic job considering the situation in Europe and the middleeast today. But I guess that's not the focus of the operation.
Is any of this enabled by default? Does it have to be manually activated in BIOS? None of my systems repsond on those ports.
Ofcourse it's enabled for NSA already, but for us ordinary people?
Internet infrastructure is just as vital as roads, water and electricity, and it can't be left to be run by private monopolies.
Here in sweden, it's very comming with metropolitan fiber networks that is owned by the county/municipal/city, and then the ISP's rent capacity or channels to delivier to end-customers. This keeps prices low and competitive. My friend pays $15 for a 100/100 Ethernet with a static IP. Traffic caps doesn't exist at all.
The swedish then state-owned Telco did a lot of important job in the 80's and almost converting all long-haul links to optical, and so a nationwide data-highway was born. Nowadays several ISP's/Telco's uses the same paths with their own equipment and cables.
Socialism internet is great.

In less developed countries like USA the major part of all trains run on diesel and oil. Here in Sweden almost all trains run on electricity.
