I thought it was interesting that this article
would mention Back Orifface. Maybe the malicious
hacker would care to install MS SMS agent. It
does the exact same thang as BO, but doesn't get
picked up by the MS-friendly virus scanners (wait,
isn't that *all* of them). How can MS release an
app that can hide on your system and give someone
free god-like access and not get the same crap
from the media as CDC?
I'm glad someon mentioned EZKeys for Windows. What a piece of crap! If I were Stephen Hawking I'd never admit to using it! For example -- here is a software made for paralyzed people -- you open the online help and get the message, "The online help has not been written yet. Please see the printed manual." This is version 2.4 for cryin' out loud! I could go on, but my point is that someone should reverse engineer this thing and open source it. I would but I don't have the programming skills. All I want is a piece of Linux software that uses 1,2 or 3 switches to manipulate an onscreen keyboard and mouse (word prediction and abbreviation would be nice too). How do I get such a project started?
