If that was what it took then it may well be a good thing. But, all historical evidence indicates that it's FAR more likely to simply raise cost and increase governmental interference while still churning out the same old stuff.
Hoping that something is good doesn't make it so. All the optimism in the world won't alter reality. Surely you've figured that out by now.
