  1. The UN (by design) can't DO anything on UN Wants to Combat Online Racism · · Score: 2

The United Nations is an organization based on principles. It has no way of directly enforcing any decision that it makes. The most it can do is make recommendations to whatever country or international group. Be design it is weak, similar to the Original Continental Congress of the early United States. In my humble opinion, the UN is destined to failure in the next 50 years or so.

Well, I ordered an ibook from MacConnection for my Mom, with airport, base station, floppy, USB hub, and even got her a copy of Linux. Everything came except for the base station which was able to pick up easily from the local CompUSA. We even got our "Barbie Airplane" on time.

What's that stand for now? Servers, Graphics, Innovation? This is beginning to make me sick to my stomach. Why rename Silicon Graphics. That's what I still call it (verbally).

Eilroch Graphic Design. Yep. That's it. Can you figure out where it came from? I was (oddly enough) a conselor at a vacation bible school and got bored one day with one of the other guys. We started trying different permutations of our own names, and ended up with Eilroch being the most interesting. The process: Charles -> Charlie -> eilrahC -> Eilrohc -> Eilroch. What do you think? 5. PNG -- used in 2d / 3d graphics on Yet Another New Image Format · · Score: 1

I create 2D and 3D images and animations for a living. PNG really saves space on my computer by allowing me gif-type compression at 24-bit color. This format has been used in the 3D world for several years now... I expect it to replace GIF sometime in the near future.
