I have to agree with you. Working for a local ISP as a web designer and lemming tech I meet with a lot of clients. When asked what they want their site to look like, 9 times out of 10 they hand me a URL and say "I like that... can we do that?" I take a look, get the general idea of what the site does/looks like, and work from there.
Besides, has anyone seen how many Microsoft-esque sites there are on the net today? For as much as people hate the company, they sure do love that design....
The problem isn't technology, but the people that might use it to gain power over you. That has always been the case and I guess it'll always be so, but that's not a reason for labelling technology as "bad".
Still, I'd be pretty wary of anyone trying to jam a chip under my skin... It has obvious benefits AND downfalls, like most technological creations, but this one will definitely get fire from a lot of organizations. I for one can see the church going ballistic on this one (as aformentioned, the whole number of the beast deal) as well as a few other groups focused on the privacy issues.
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
Yes, I have to agree. Let's keep Billy away from quality characters like Bilbo. And another agreement: That picture has tons of potential... I may have to break out Paint Shop and have a go at it myself *lol*
We've received a couple of emails from users asking us if it's all for real (I work for an ISP) and apparantly this site is sending out plenty of emails to inform the public...
