I had not heard about that Emory U thing previously. All I can say is wow. Hopefully they never glimpse the Trump Tower, or any of the Trump properties, or they might go into shock from all the micro-agressions.
I have dual IPS displays on my desktop at home, I can't say I have ever seen this problem. It appears from Google that this is some kind of image burn in problem, but I have never seen that issue with IPS displays, but perhaps I have been lucky.
In computer monitors, most people buy TN garbage, and if you want a nice display you get IPS. AMOLED is not meant for durable goods, the blue pixels fade after only a couple years.
Which doesn't make much sense as the US carriers at least all have 2 year replacement periods (actually 16 month...). Why make the user experience miserable near the end when they are shopping for their next phone?
Wow, just wow, the ignorance of your post is astounding.
Intel compatible is much of the PC and Mac market. ARM campatible is phones and tablets. The xservs were RISC computers which were incompitble with most of the software in the world. How am I wrong? And how is misstating the CPU manufacturer of a computer I haven't touched in 10 years something that means I am not a Geek?
You really are a fanboy, can't have anyone saying anything FROM EXPERIENCE, that looks bad to Apple huh?
A CCTV recording of the incident was released by the Daily Mirror before the police released it. The video recording showed people nicknamed by the newspaper as "Mr Ginger, Mr Strong, Mr Montana, The Gent, The Tall Man and The Old Man".[15][16]
Yeah, some serious parallel construction needed there. They were caught on camera.
Does that genuinely change what I was saying? Arm and PowerPC are RISC based processors, which means that they are not Intel compatible. So, how is that really any different that I used the incorrect term? How is that full of shit? Is the system compatible with 90% of the software out there? Can you run Windows on it like the Intel based Macs?
Apple has never done anything for the corporate world very well, their servers were ok, but lacked actual enterprise features. (redundancy, ease of maintenance, upgradability) Their servers were also about 1/3 more expensive than much better offerings from Dell or HP. They were terrible about compatibility with non Apple stuff. Their servers were ARM stuff, so wouldn't work with VMs like you are talking about because ARM is not compatible with 90% of the software out there. Very likely though, they would go Intel instead of ARM for a new offering.
I know, I provided citations to learned scientists supporting my claim. You choose to instead talk about how much better you are because you can use Google, well, so can I, as that is where I found my citation. So, where is it, or would you prefer to stay in the troll category? I don't need to pay your salary, you have already proven you have no problem continuing to come here and talk out of ignorance.
It is nice to see a lawyer weigh in. So, exactly how would the FBI lose? They have permission from the owner of the phone, and are asking for a one time exploit that wouldn't be able to be reused as it would 1. be signed with the Apple key, and 2. would have the device ID in it.
So, exactly how would this be an amendment court case?
Stop comparing clock rates. The generational differences between processors would make the laptop faster than desktop in your example, even with the slower clock rate.
No, but the prediction of peak oil was that we wouldn't find any more oil fields, but it turns out there are tons of undiscovered oil fields. Also, as the price of oil rose, more methods for getting at oil became possible as the price rose to the costs of these methods, such as tar sands and fracking.
The thing is, without forcing anyone to do anything (beyond the money being offered on things like Teslas and solar panels), the US has dropped its CO2 output dramatically. If you care so much about this issue, start yelling at Africa, India and China, or come up with some kind of carbon removal device to use on the atmosphere.
Woot is currently (today only likely) selling 40"+ TVs for low prices. They even have smart TVs. If you aren't looking for 4k or 3D, you don't need to really buy anything expensive. I would suggest with any flat panel TV though that you get some kind of surround sound, or even a speaker bar, as due to the size constraints, the speakers inside modern TVs are awful.
I wonder how much 28km of rope weighs, could we just anchor a balloon with rope and satisfy the requirements?

So, women who wear high heels are rewarded with higher pay? I can live with that. /s
So is grammar...

To answer at least some of your question:

Would you prefer "Windows 8 and 10 search"?

Have you purchased your indulgences yet?
not sure how letters got eaten there...human control.
that we will hand young people and future generations a climate system that is practically out of their control.
When has the climate system ever been under hum control?

You are the one making the unsupported assertion, I supported mine. So I guess you are the one pontificating from the wrong end of your body, not I.
How does it feel to be outed as a troll?
I really wish everyone would get together and come up with a standard for casting apps
Someone did, but as usual the big names don't want to use someone else's standard when they can sell you their proprietary junk.

The Royal Air Force? I know they bombed the shit out of Germany in WW2, but terrorists? Really?
