    Yeah, those were the days ... running home to see how my Empire was going in VGA Planets, checking out my positions in BRE and SRE, and of course going through my several games of TW. I loved how those games were so addicting, so involving, even though they barely featured any graphics. I spent so much time roleplaying and communicating with other players. Nowadays, there's not much chatting in online-gaming, lest you be smacked down by a BFG or something. Unfortunately I think the current generation of gamers could use something like TW or VGAP, where you did have to spend quite a bit of time developing your communication skills -- building alliances, leading others, developing strategies, heck ... just not acting stupid (like many online gamers seem to be these days).
