Oh, and not to mention that the earthquake in CA (I happen to be in SFO then), was in the middle of nowhere with a total population of the area in 100's (and not thousands and millions).
I think the person again forgest the devastating effects of the Tsunami in Hawaii in the 50's (or 60's - something like that I forget).
Given his/her state of mind, I think we can have pity on him/her.
If Sun was so "worried" about MS "taking-over" Java, they probably should look at J#, http://msdn.microsoft.com/visualj/jsharp/beta.asp. Given the fact that nothing about it is mentioned is a bit surprising.
