This sounds like the kind of stuff I'd make up if I wanted to put words in his mouth.
Yeah, if you RTF'n "article", those words WERE put in his mouth. It's some kind of spoof ad. Just something to stir up the netroots rabble. It's even below the level of discourse here at slashdot....
Wait, who am I kidding? It's perfect!
Vote for WHO? As you say, most congresscritters (and the candidates who will oppose them) could not care less about these issues. When both sides of our two-party system are just going to be bought by lobbyists, what's the difference in choosing one over the other?
I'll vote for a rational 3rd-party candidate if I can, but who's to say that will be a choice either?
And, this is from a person who votes in EVERY election, writes letters to congress, etc, but I'm beginning to become very disillusioned, especially on these issues.
Is 94.8% pretty bad, you have to take the union of your VOIP providers downtime with your ISPs downtime to get your true total VOIP downtime. At least with my Comcast service, that's bound to be even higher.
It's that "other criminal activities" that has me worried. If someone is talking about drugs (regardless of whether or not they actually use them), does Uncle Sam track 'em down and start a file?
Didn't you see the latest "PSA" from the office of the drug czar? Drugs == terrorism. I expect that the war on drugs will be stepped up even further, because now its the war on terrorism too!
You know, I get some over the more obscure science discussions here, but how a TiVo works still escapes me.
The literature I read claims that it works with anything... even my digital cable. How does that work, though? Does it have a comcast digital cable box built in? I doubt it. Do I feed it the coax from my TV Out on the box? Then how does it change to the right channel to record my show?
"You have the right to fair use, but it's illegal to exercise that right!"
This would not be the first example of this type of behavior by.gov. In Michigan I have the "right" to refuse to take a breathalyzer test, but if I refuse any cop can and will suspend my drivers license immediately, sans due process.
How many of those 3.3 million users are using their PayPal accounts for auction payments? What happens to PayPal if ebay should ban the use of PayPal, or ebay's competing product (Billpoint?) takes off? I recognize that this may be unlikely, but I think it does throw a shadow of doubt on the "certainty" of PayPal's success.
Apple Computers has plenty of lawyers in England. Just ask Apple Records.
No, no, that DOES explain it! You must like your movies like your cigarettes. BLAND!
Good plan. See you at GTMO after.
Has George Bush ever called you dumb?
Yeah -- every time he expects me to believe the war in Iraq is linked to "war on terror".

Funny, but completely untrue!!! ...
It only takes one to empty your wallet.

Microsoft already has the only Bill they need. Why would they need everyone's firstborn Bill too?
After a certain number of vowels, does it even matter anymore?
You can't possibly pronounce it anyways.
Yeah, and considering I have a net worth of about -$5,000, that would be like giving me 10 cents.

Gosh, I'm so evil for smoking that joint.
Too lazy for a sig.
It's not a bug (loophole), it's a feature -- according to the FCC, in any case.
Spiffy, thanks. I swear I never saw that anywhere.

So confused.

-- I'm not cool enough for a .sig
Out of all the hundreds of articles that could be posted on a daily basis, why an article with a bad picture of me? Rob, that was cruel and heartless.
( As if it wasn't bad enough *JUST* in the Times. )
