and why is this not surprising in the least?
you're trying to pack a processor and all the necessary components for a real computer in a netbook not much room for error
Come 2012 the world (as we know it) will end... Because we'll be so fed up with governmental BS we rise up and kill the bastards, leading to a golden age of ?anarchy? WTF? My brain just reset, damnit.
doubt it, the youth of today are too lazy to do anything about anything these days
print off flyers, chalk up sidewalks (depending on legality), start conversations with people, send emails to news agencies, send emails to the sites that will be affected (youtube, message boards, anything with user generated content)
oh god, somehow we got all the cell phone health nuts and the privacy rights nuts (not quite as crazy) both arguing at the same time... what has science done?
it's always "protect the children"
I spent all of my childhood past the age of 8 online and did I get abducted? did I become a horrible person? no
did I become much more resourceful and patient in understanding computers? yes
did I learn? yes
enough ideas without statistics I say
isn't this where it all starts? with one word here, one there.
after a few "generations" of changed books, the originals may lose context and meaning.
I'm maintaining a healthy skepticism of this being amazon's plan, to eventually censor books it doesn't agree with and profit from it. Hiding behind anti piracy and protect the children can only last so long...
I'm not saying this IS their plan, just that it could easily be possible given their recent actions (suing people for having public domain books (animal farm and 1984 actually) on kindle devices)
but will they improve it, emulate the code and make their own, more powreful version? purchase the servers? I'd be willing to bet an organ that they've got more in mind than just paying someone else to do this

could this be used on the public end as well? And if a ps3 can break encryption that well, could it make it?
win also, Isn't there a better place to get stem cells? like umbilical cords? please anytbing but the end of somebody's cock
and who controls the infrastructure of the internet? yeah. freenet works as long as it doesn't become mainstream
no, as in, everything good is copyrighted... not to mention intellectual copyright
