I agree, I would not be surprised if the US military uses the same "encryption" with their sensative video data as they use for their drone video feeds.
As I recall the drone video feeds are unencrypted, and can be picked up by some quite unsufisticated equipment. And a program used in the old days in USSR for people to watch TV signals from the west.
