The person who pays and I will agree on something if the work is to be done. But if I have to store what currency I gain for a while, I want it to keep its value. It shouldn't be a perishable item.
Too many third parties are effected. It results in hoarding, creating the 'shortages' you fear. My purchasing power should be determined by my skill in my labor, not by stock market speculators thousands of miles away in some fenced off island. 'Supply and demand' is a myth. Commodity prices are arbitrarily set by corrupt institutions such as Libor. This market is like a rain forest canopy, all the action is over our heads, and we live on what little falls through. We should not be letting them determine the price of the sea shells I collect on the beach.
The ones I see are towing a 20 foot trailer full of equipment behind their brand new suburbans. They started out poor too. Really the trade you pick is irrelevant. Skill and charisma (more like chutzpah) will get you through. If there's no money in IT, do something else.
You completely neglect the benefits derived by the people that employ them, who also happen to be heavy 'contributors' to political campaigns. They are the tax cheats, not the workers. The workers get 'taxed' through sub-minimum wages and abusively long hours, while the employers pocket everything that would go into social security and payroll taxes and the withholding. As long as the present situation remains the most profitable, this is how things will be done. And playing into the hate only serves that purpose.
That's okay. The real money is in landscaping, plumbing, and electricity. Do any of those well, and you'll be a hell of a lot richer than some IT schlub working 60-70 weeks.
Nothing happened. The spying continues as if nobody said a thing. It had no effect on the election, and it won't have any effect in the next one. Whatever the NSA does from here on out cannot be blamed on anybody but the voters. It's extremely simple.
And how do you propose to disable screen capture? And why should Snapchat be trusted?

What is wrong with speculation?

None if it is random by any means.

Just another commodity rip off scam. We need a medium of exchange that stands by itself, not subject to speculations of the 'market'.
They can wrap the building in tin foil. I'm sure that's perfectly legal.

Why is living in Puerto Rico 'unfortunate'?
See? They do work together! They are a team! The majority wants this. Don't even try to argue with them.
Yes, I did fail to bring up the fact that most people want this. We truly do have a very representative government in the US.

"proprietary methodology"
Somebody is trying to sell the electronic equivalent of 'distressed properties'.
Stop putting elected people on pedestals. They don't have the competence to decide what is best for you nor me - only we do.
Apparently we don't have the competence to elect competent people if that is the case. What to do What to do...
Argument? Sorry that's down the hall
Oh fuck! I give up!
Sorry, water vapor.. so the pendants don't get them
Methane is a far more powerful (25 times or so) greenhouse gas than c02...
BAH! You should check the numbers on water! It's the most powerful of all. I don't see anybody trying to regulate that...
Profits aren't made at the pump, they are made in the stock market, where a penny's fluctuation in price gain or lose billions in a second.
They can always have more kids to use it, and you can't grow an economy without growing the population.
So very wrong...
The nefarious against the nefarious is non-nefarious..?
Be very afraid when Slashdot starts saying 'cute' in its summaries of electronic devices. I just gagged a little..
I have the same thing. Turns out it was a redacted CIA memo
