    I think you should have been around in 1917, or maybe 1898, or just any time after the invention of the printing press, if you believe it's any worse now. There's nothing recent about censorship and yellow journalism. Ancient history continues to weigh heavily.

    Same here. Advertisers dictate the narrative, as it has always been. The 'drama' attracts attention to the sponsors' products. This is entertainment, after all. For serious news, you go to Comedy Central.

    I think the numbers says we're good for maybe 150-200 years, only with the best tech yet to come, solar, nuke, geothermal, all of it, at the present growth rate, which is very unlikely.. especially considering that we are still petro-burning cavemen... Maybe the wall is *closer than it appears*...

    Hardly a 'political narrative'. That's the advertisers talking. They know what works, and they get what they want.

    You're probably right. I just think the best initial response is the judge's orders. That way you might make a fast buck or two in a quick settlement right off the bat, and end the threat, right now... Biddy bing biddy boom.. And you get street creds. Then you're either untouchable, or you're dead, but at least you're not being strung along by bullshit.

    Neither.. The gun supersedes both, or rather the conscious of the man with his finger on the trigger. The written law has proven to be quite 'fluid', taking the shape of its container, whatever it happens to be that day.

    This whole encryption thing is a fraud. Nobody is allowed to sell unbreakable encryption to the general public. All communication companies must provide access... That 'law', whether written or not, is set in stone.
