Wasn't there already something done about patenting genes? I'm sure I remember reading something about the genetic code of the population of Iceland being sold....
Went into my local small computer store to buy a game, got talking to the guy in the shop who started trying to sell me a computer once he realised I didn't actually own one yet. He got totally confused when I said I didn't want anything with Windows on it. Had blantently never heard of Linux, and said he thought I had wanted a PC not a Mac which he obviously thought was the only alternative. Now you can laugh at clueless people working in computer stores, and I did, but it is people like that who most folk buy their computers from. Too many people aren't aware of the alternatives to Windows etc. It's the one that comes with the machine, and judging by conversations with various deeply non-computer literate friends, is seen as integral to a machine to the point of being unreplaceable - oh maybe it can be by programmers and stuff, but not real people. I tried to even vaguely mention alternatives, but they just plain weren't interested. It worked well enough for Word Processing and that was all they really cared about. PS> I deny any allegations I was buying a game to play on University owned machines:)
Porn of the Internet? What is that - digitally edited pictures of dubious looking hardware? I'm obviously not that geeky since I don't dabble in that:)

Would have thought the first to go would be the Dutch. But the domain is still sold so why wouldn't it be valid?
How many people still refer their radio as a wireless?
