I also subscribe to the Omnisky service, but have less than glowing comments. While impressed with the technology, coverage around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area is not what it should be. Additionally, there is a fit problem between my modem and Palm V that Omnisky is aware of, but as yet has no plan to ship a fix. As far as a beta program, I have submitted many comments, but have never received any responses. The building I work in is not cellular friendly, most phones/pagers can't get a signal in here, so to get my e-mail, I have to go outside. Not exactly convient. The support people carry Motorola Pagewritters, those things seem to work everywhere. There's my input.
Before another 200 sudo scientists respond with to this posting, I suggest you check out the following site: http://www.inetarena.com/~noetic/pls/gravity.html It discusses similar gravity shielding experiments and has links to research NASA is doing in this field as well.
