Uh... The 'bubble' UI was shown for about 2 seconds in that video which mentioned NOTHING about it being a possible interface for Window 8. Window 8 wasn't even mentioned in the video.
Who came up with the crappy title for this article?
What's even more amazing about this incident is that my kids have a children's book at home about a boy who loved molasses witnessing this event. His mother disbelieves him when he comes home covered in molasses and sends him to bed without supper, until his father comes home later also covered in molasses.
The family has a wonderful time laughing at the incident and the book ends happily... HA HA! No mention of 21 dead people.
I hated drinking water when I was a kid. I remember a nasty bitter aftertaste.
Only now do I realize that the problem was the nasty processed/chlorinated swill that was distributed as city water. After installing a reverse-osmosis system at home we find that we drink about 90% water when at home.
I'm of the opinion that most people have the same aversion to drinking water from similar experiences. When we go to our in-laws house I can't even come near a glass of tap water - the amount of chlorine off-gassing makes me gag.
Cinecast is an excellent movie review podcasts the IMO beats the snot out of Ebert & Whoever (of course you can catch their podcast as well.) RSS Feed
Keith and the Girl still stands as one of my regulars, although not for everyone, but very funny. RSS Feed
Coverville is a wonderful high production values music podcast that features only covers of songs. I love it. RSS Feed
As for RSS feed readers/podcatchers (another hated word mashup), I still use the original Juice receiver (previously called iPodder). It has plenty of flaws, but every time I give other feed readers a try I always come back to it. I still haven't found one that will synch with my iRiver correctly. I use the new version of WinAmp for that.
I don't know why everyone always recommends using iTunes. I abhor their podcast interface and always get confused as it dumps me in and out of my library, search, back to their store, etc. Hate hate hate!

"Many claim to produce luxury goods but we believe that the true element of luxury is having something that says "YOU", that money can't buy."
So... the true element of luxury is saying that "YOU" are a POMPOUS ASS?
