Just a couple of weeks ago, I and a few others had the sysadmin at our work turn off an option in Exchange server that automaticly attaches a HTML copy of the email to each email. Unfortunatly some mailing-list services (mostly web-based) interpreted only the HTML part, sending everyone on the list HTML copies of the mail (with ads). It appears this option is turned on by default in Exchange. Quite anoying.
Well, I agree that the Amiga, as a hardware platform , is indeed dead. However, the AmigaOS is a very good base for a realtime-OS for embeded systems. Strip out the graphics/windowing code and you have a small and effective kernel.
According to a swedish virus expert (the one who first found the author of the Melissa virus), it is german student living in Australia that is responsible the lovletter-virus.
Taxman was made by HAL Labs in either 1980 or 1981, which was, for all practical purposes, a direct ripoff of PacMan. Wasnt it Atari that "invented" PacMan? To bad they doesn't exist anymore or they could sue Hasbro.
How about the "normal" kids? The ones with a large group of admirers, with wealthy parents, quarterback in the football team or cheerleader, that very, very often kick around with the kids not fitting into their group or "normal" people? Is it these kids, or is it the oddballs, that are going to end up in the Pinkerton register? My guess is the oddballs, because the "normal" guys are just that, "normal".
Why couldn't US let the U.N. (or some other global organization) handle it? Or even better, let it handle ALL Internet-related things?

Does this mean that US citizens can mirror/distribute programs like deccs and cphack now?
