Just that getting an own domain name and buying the services you need seperately is cehaper than 99 a year. I had iTools back then, before it became.mac. iTools was free,.mac not so.
Then i just got me a domain name and the rest is history.
Yeah, but maybe receiving respect from others should be a human right.
Why be disrespectful, say your point of view, let others say theirs. If needed prov your point and if needed let the others prove their point. But always respect the other one, no matter how wrong or foolish you might think they are.
That part is not a part of the 6 creation days. The earth and heaven was created before the 6 creation days started, Genesis 1:1,2 is not part of the creation days that start in Genesis 1:3. Even more the 7th day is mention and given a start, but no conclusion of the 7th day has been mentioned. Thus the 7th day still continues.
So the creational days are wast longer than 24h days. They are periods for certain events, as the original Hebrew word for day used in connection with the creation, also could be translated very long time or period. Which the unconcluded 7th day gives a hint on. Also Adam was to die that day, but no he did not die on that specific day.
So first of all, heavens and earth where created before the biblical creation days begin. Secondly, the length of each day is unknown and can wary in length. For the third many of the events where gradual and spanned over several creation days.
Thus, those who say that the earth is slightly older than 6000 years, are not only proven wrong by science but proven wrong with the Bible.
How does this work out with former atheists and evolution scientists who have changed their views. Your theory is interesting, and probably correct in many circumstances, but it's far from true.
Why not use the bible to prove the "young-earth" creationists wrong. All you need to know is the first 2 chapters, if you know them well you can show them that the 6 (no 7) days where not 24h days, but periods of unknown lengths. The seventh day has not got an conclusion even, not anywhere it the whole bible.
The spectrum was more popular among those who created usefull programs on their Sinclaris.
On a 48k zx spectrum you could load more code than to a 64k Comodore. And that is because of the Basic interpreter on the Sinclar was more efficient.
Hense you could write heavier applications on less memory on a Sinclair than on Comodor. The gamers would prefer a Comodor 64 yes, but not the real nerds.
These 2 examples you gave where 2 extremes. But there is a balance between.
Allow the "free market" companies to have their lines set up in an area. They where first so they have the monopoly on those physical lines. But the government who is the one making laws. Force them to rent bandwitdh on those lines to their competitors.
In that way you end up having competition over the customers, and not so much about the areas. Basically a local company in NewYork could sell bandwidth to a customer in Los Angeles.
In Finland this is what we have. All major network companies are forced to rent bandwidth. They can set their own price but that wont help them if their customers need to use an other network companys network. In the end the prices will drop for the customers.
This is the role the government needs to have. The government needs to force competition on the markets. And that might include telling how the companies are allowed to do their bisness.
Here in Finland this has led to that we have mobile carrier companies that don't even own their network at all, they just rent it from those who have. Interestingly these usually also give you a better deal than the carrier companies that also have their own network.
Living in a country that fought for their freedom from communist Russia and gained independence in 1917 from Russia. Lived neighbour with Russia during their Sovjet era and now "democratic" era. But also seen and been in USA.
I can't stop marvel that how so different countries. One with total liberty, the other with no liberty, still are so indifferent. The people in US, are not free, they are very similar to the people of Sovjet. Totally tied up. Yes they are so by totally different means or ways, but the end result is the same.
When it comes to technology a lot of stuff has been develop in USA, and the same is true for Sovjet. And still the people in US and former Sovjet literally live in a technological stone age.
Just look at the banking systems in USA, when you go there it feels like your ended up in 1800 AD. And not in a modern system of 2010. The same thing goes for mobile devices. Here I believe Russia is more developed today. Both in the banking world and with mobile technology. Estonia has by far the most modern government, and utilizes technology well. That is an other former Sovjet state.
So in the end the communistic way, and the highly liberal democratic way has brought their people to the very same end results. People who are not free. Either tied up by corporations and other wealthy organizations or even wealthy individuals, or tied up by the government.
Well communism did this in much more cruel way so this is not a comparison of the two political systems. But an comparison in how free the people ended up.
What is the reason behind? Well corporations have a very similar power structure as countries have that are not democratic. And there is no fault with that, so it should be. But someone need to put regulations on how and what corporations are allowed to control, and how you are allowed to do bisness.
USA is in this respect a warning example how too liberal law and politics when it comes the corporate world, destroys all that what democracy once wanted to acomplish, a government by the people for the people.
yeah, And only if those options where standardized so that -l or -e or -i always meant the same.
Gosh, I find more guy people knowing computers, as they have time solving real computational problems, than those digging in man files for what option was used in this command now again...
yes, but that is not the case of Android market. As you have device x and y that ships same day. Device x has Android 2.1 device y has Android 1.6.
Where is the progress, as they are not progressed from one to the other, they are frekengly released as new products same day. And that is while Android 2.2 is out and 2.3 is on the way.
Holysmoke, take that pink sunglasses of your nose and quit smoking what your smoking. Common linux has more fragmentations issues than Windows even has. Did you by the way have that driver from my wireless? And while your at it could you check if there is any driver for my soundcard been here without sound for a couple of years...
-Gosh. Worst fanboys are the linux fanboys. Linux is good for a few, but hey it does not cut it for the most.
Heck flash drains my windows laptop battery. Adobe just presented a solution where flash basically reduces cpu load to 10% of what it used to.
That is telling you how bad the old flash shitty crap thingy is. And I doubt that is the only unoptimization they've done. So basically I would not be surprised that flash could do with less than 1% of it's current cpu load if they did some good old optimization.
I have everyday issues with this on Windows. Drivers are faulty, drivers this and that not compatible with each other, etc, etc, etc
While the man is noway problem free, but heck is lightyears ahead.
I've just come to the conclusion, if your the type that think it's a problem that a certain game is not available on the mac platform, they you seldom even consider other problems on the platform as problems.
To me it's irrelevant if there is a specific application or not on a platform. Usually there is a solution to any task you want to perform. But when it comes to reliability of a platform, that is a whole different universe.
Hey I got antenna problems with my iphone4, but yes it has never dropped a call, but hey holding it wrong will drop data transfer, in many applications. Seems like switching from 3g to edge or other does not work so well with data transfers as it works with call transfers.
So yes it has an antenna problem, most people wont notice, and most people will use a bumper as that phone is sencitive to wrong handling as dropping it. Mine is on service atm for just that reason. No the glass did not crack at that time that id did earlier because of an other drop. But it was at the back and barely noticably. Se even if i love the iphone4 for it's features. Extremely good screen etc, they could have designed it more in mind of usability, as it's over sensitive on a number of points. The build it selfe is tight really good work. Few devices that is that solid as an iphone 4. But does not help when the glass is put where it most easily break.
The 3Gs was better designed from usabilty standpoint. The iphone 4 is marvelous building achievement, but just not proper.
well probably true that englis not my best language. Spelling and grammar are bit faulty. To bad IE7 that im forced to use does not automagically spellcheck for as I'm used to with Safari on a mac.
Basically what i try to say is I'm more into that our pollution of the oceans is fare worce than our pollution of the athmosphere. Acidification of the oceans and seas is happening, but I doubt that CO2 is the bigest contributor to that.
However how does our pollution of the oceans contribute to climate change?
As it's easy to prove climate change is due to man. And the biggest temperature change is happening under sea level.
I'm quite sure that the main reason to climate change is not CO2. CO2 contributes, and is partly an effect of the climate change.
I've seen what the acidification causes to our ocean (bottnian sea?/gulf? in english)
In such a case, if you do have too high licens costs, you erned it;)
But no, you should still be allowed to benefit from your research. Why many contries addopt the social way when it comes to health care. The inhuman americans never get. In those moddels the state payes the bill for research in these fields in short hand. Then thoug your taxeted for it.
I agree on your point otherwice. But clame evolution proven is a bit thick. When even many highly regarded evolutionary scientis have themselves from from their old theories of the evelutionary events. The evolution theory is constantly changeing, and very little is proven. One mekanism though connected to evolution theory that is proven is the natural selection.
But aside from that there are mostly only hypotheses that sadly are communicated as proven facts, but have no real scientific proof what so ever.
On the otherhand there are some very disturbing facts for the evolution theories it slefe. Just gonna mention one that any slashdotter can easely experiment with themselves. Try find a growth rate for homosapiens that fit well with todays population in the world and the asumed age of homosapiens.
I've done it just some weeks ago. And it's very interresting. It's easely done with a spreadsheet application as excel.
You will be surpices how many natural catastrophies of global scale you have to fit in. And how short interval you need between them, to keep the population at only ~7 billion 2010AD.
Yes your are correct any serious researcher would say this. But people have been linked trough media to sites that call global warming climate gate. And their "proof" shows that glaciers and polar ices has grown bigger, this is shown by showing pictures of the claciers taken by setelits and from air. And quite correctly they show that the ice has spread out and become bigger to the area. But ofcourse they leve out the mass meassures done by satelites that meassures the total ice volume.
This is why they are fooled into belive that it's a climategate rather than a globalwarming. I'm not fond of the science in either extrems of these opinnions. But I give far more credit to globalwarming science than to political sciense of climategate.
sigh, when you speak about temperature changes of 10 degreas in any direktion, it's evidence of you not knowing anything about the subject of climate change. When you start talking about changes in maximum couple of degrese celsius or kelvin or just fractions of a degree. Then I know that you have some creditiblity.
But I give you that, you've realised that the "ice age" was a sudden event and not a slow process that took centuries or even millenias to form. So in that sence global warming has very little to do whit ice ages or hot periods at all, as this is slow processes. But Mexico with artic conditons is an exaguration too.
There is no glacial expansion, your fooled to think so as the area increases but not the volume.
Get an icecream and let it lie on your table. While melting it will spread it self out. Even more pulsate the temperature between -10 and +10 celcus and your see how the icecream gets bigger. But do you really think that you'll get more icecream just because it's using more space of the table area?
Hmm interessting, I'm no scientist, but I live in an area where I've have vittnesed the acidification of our sea (ocean in a way not just salty enough). And my conclusions have been that "climategate" people are totaly wrong, while globalwarming people are way of.
CO2 is 1% of our athmosphere. It's the most effectiv greenhouse gas. But It's nothing compared to the amounth of other weaker greenhouse gases. A doubling of CO2 will have an effect but far from the figures that have been predicted. And interestingly water is our greatest greenhouse gas. Why I came to the conclusion that it's not the human polution of our athmosphere that is our biggest problem. But our polution of the oceans and seas.
And this puts light on my "hypotesis". As I could never figer out how.
For those who claim climategate, and use the spreading of our polar ice as an example of how false globalwarming is. Buy your self some icecream and put it on the table to melt. You will notice that while the icecream melts it will spread it self on the table. At the same time the icecream will get thinner. That is exactly what is happening to our poloar ices. They spread out wider but loses in total mass. Why a photography wont tell the truth about their real situation. But a massreading will do. At the same time while the ice melts and spreads it will cool down the higher tempered ares. Ofcourse the pulsating behaivour due to different seasons makes it all more complicated to meassure.
This is all acording to globalwarming models. But It's nice to see that scientists start to realise that CO2 is not our highest contributor to globalwarming, yes it's part of it, but not the sole reason behind it.
As I'm also having aquariums, freshwater. CO2 is added to help plant grow and that way figth of algea. Light + CO2 is very good for a fresh water aquarium. But it's not only CO2 that keeps down the PH of a freshwater akuarium. Where sometimes a PH around 5 is desirable. Mine last time checked had about 7 in PH. Depending on what specimen you have different ph values are desirable. For the specimen I had when I actively checked ph I wanted around 8. But few freshwater plants like that.
But most importantly "Asidfication" in an fresh water aquarium happens easely by other restproducts than CO2. And you need not to add any CO2 to get an assidification. It's enough to polute it with other products.
Question is does it affect our athmosphere and if so, how?
Still people normally have higher bars for commiting a murder, than commiting an economical crime.
It's all about the indiviual view on moral, and the comunitys view on moral. That shapes the laws. If it's lawful to kill someone, then it's not a murder is it? But it's still just as wrong morally.
Yes some companies with leaders with no sence of etics would fine ways. But is it according their views laws should be formed?
I agree,
Just that getting an own domain name and buying the services you need seperately is cehaper than 99 a year. I had iTools back then, before it became .mac. iTools was free, .mac not so.

Where did i claim anything?
You would need to separate both the first and the second vers of gensis 1 from the first creation day.
Yeah, but maybe receiving respect from others should be a human right.
