Don't Abuse the ACLU

On: Virgina Criminalizes spam, ACLU against it

The ACLU makes sure that someone tests
the constitutionality of new laws. If the law
is just (as I think it is, though I haven't read
the text of it) then ACLU will lose. If it isn't
then they deserve to win. Are /.ers suddenly
trusting legislators to pass good laws? Don't
they want someone to keep the gov't in line?
