Trade Wars 2002 was, and is, the coolest door game ever. Nothing beats blowing the shit out of a little Scout Marauder with your Corporate Flagship. Ahh, those were the good old days, when MM0G was 2 guys on a BBS mothing each other's quasar cannons...
I don't have a job, so I don't have enough money to give presents. I'm embarrased, so i'm hiding from my few friends. I wish Santa would bring some tech jobs to Dallas this year.
Now, instead of the relatively long (30-60sec) T.V. Commercials, we have 7 second commercials. The next generation is not going to be able to focus reliably on anything if we continue to shorten the collective attention span. Does anyone else think that perhaps shortening the length and increasing the intensity of advertisements is a bad thing?
I personaly find myself repulsed by these "Interruption based" advertisements. I don't watch T.V., Ever, and I hate to thing my antipathy may soon extend ever further, as advertisement based media sends it's corrupted tendrils further into the internet.
In the words of Bill Hicks, "They are Demons, set loose on the earth, to lower the standards."

This is a nice lap-top, but are we expected to accept that because you can turn the screen on it's end, it has 6 functionality modes?! That's a little much for even me to swallow.M
Admittedly, moderation can be said to be the enemy of free speech, but excessive freedom in unmoderated environments seems to breed 'chaff'. I find it to be as restrictive to my intake of new ideas to allow thousands of useless or antagonistic posts to proliferate these message boards. I do not have the time in my life to personally sift through hundereds of pointless posts searching for the jewel of information. Instead, I visit places where people I am somewhat trusting of moderate the posts for my perusal. There is, perhaps, a weakness to any system, and until humans cease to exploit the relatively new anonymity of the internet for their attention-getting behaviors, I and many others will be forced to rely on moderated systems.
Oh, and this is my first./ post. I am elated to have finally found something worth speaking up about.
Sure, why not?
I mean, with processors being so inadeqate compared to the software of today, I could see how overclocking could be a major concern....
When there is no real news, such things serve to pass the time.

No Way!!
