It has nothing to do with generations - it's all about novelty.
Consider jet passengers; inexperienced travelers get excited/nervous about taking off and landing. After a few trips, experienced travelers don't even pay attention.
Look all the problems San Francisco is having. More businesses moving into the centre, turns it into an industrial park that shuts down on the week-end.
Doesn't have to be that way. Chicago has as much foot traffic on the weekends as it does during the week. Just build new high rise residences with retail shops on the street level. That helps a city reach the population critical mass that it needs to for downtown retail and restaurants to survive on the weekends. San Francisco's problem is due to politics and hostility to new residential.
So the mayor is studying ways to avoid an active-by-day deserted-by-night city. Probably this won't go through exactly as is, but these companies may be asked to leave certain residential areas.
The way to accomplish that is to build new housing downtown with retail/service/restaurants on the street level, residences on the higher floors and maybe some office space in-between.
The point was disputing that good brushing removes all the debris. To establish that brushing misses a lot of debris, the test would involve brushing first and then seeing if flossing removed any additional debris.
Unfortunately, you can't watch someone floss their teeth and see the health benefits happening. You won't know for years
Sure you can. You can examine the gunk that removed by flossing even after brushing. Is having food debris in your mouth and promoting infections a good thing or a bad thing?
Even if a person wants to be obtuse about the above, it only takes a couple of weeks to see objective evidence i.e. gum bleeding reduced or stopped, reduced inflammation and reduction in pocket size.
It is impossible for brushing to remove all of the food debris between the teeth. Try flossing after brushing and see if your gums bleed or if you have gunk on the floss.
Flossing has little to do with cavities; it is more about preventing gum disease.
Chronic gum disease leads to pockets at the base of your teeth where the gums have pulled away due to inflammation. Does your dentist take measurements? For a lot of patients that they view as a lost cause, the dentists don't even make a big deal about it. You can check this at home by flossing and seeing if your gums bleed.
I think the point is that she is guilty of theft and/or embezzlement and should be punished for that. The fact that a computer or cell phone was used shouldn't matter.
The spirit of the computer crime laws are supposed to apply to breaking into systems.
Mostly the DNC tried to hide the debates by scheduling them on Saturday nights - the lowest TV viewing night of the week. It's akin to scheduling announcements over the Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays.
You can look it up in a book, perhaps even online. Then you'll know what the word means.
Words in English can have multiple & nuanced meanings. Look up the word "unlimited" and then check out the example usages. In the examples at Dictionary.com, "unlimited" really meant "vast" or "undefined" e.g. "the unlimited skies".
Because no one doing the blaming actually has children, or remembers what its like to have small children, or has ever actually had to chase a toddler around....though some of them will likely claim to have said experiences, and think that anyone who doesn't keep their child on a dog leash is a horrible parent...
Ah, playing the old "I have kids so I'm special" card.
Look it's simple, if you can't control your kids, they shouldn't be out in public. Do you really think that a toddler that has to chased arround belongs in a public setting with lots of potential dangers?/p?

If a person's gums are bleeding in multiple locations and have deep pockets - odds are very high the person isn't flossing.

Fail. The pockets deepen when flossing does not occur but improve when regular flossing is introduced.
To be clear, some pockets are already in such an infected state that flossing can't help and surgery is required.

Was Moody's one of the companies that rated the MBS (Mortgage Backed Securities) at AAA even though they were junk?
Look, the ratings agencies work for Wall Street - they do what Wall Street tells them.
Why would Wikileaks do that when no other modern-day journalist? Journalists today are all about hot takes, sensationalism and activism.
The words Liberal, Conservative, Left, Right have pretty must lost all meaning. They've pretty much fallen into "no true scottsman" territory.
The main dividing lines now are "open borders" vs "controlled immigration", free trade" vs "fair trade" - essentially Globalist vs Nationalist.

They are very fast on their feet and don't obey orders.
Then why are they are they out in public where they can get hurt? If people can't control their kids, they shouldn't be out in public.
Then how was the mom not knocked down?
It's annoying to see people throw around demands for citations when they don't actually follow through themselves.
The onus is on the person making a claim, not a person asking for verification.
If you're going to classify us as contractors, you need to give us all the benefits that independent business men have.
What type of contractors get to set the price to the end user?
You should look into the concept of "survivorship bias".
Not really - using untreated human waste as fertilizer is a good way to spread disease and parasites.
Honest question, how would you categorize the practice of being jailed for contempt of court? Is that a form of torture?
The earth won't be part of that nebula though.
