Indeed, nobody here is so stupid or naive to actually think a zero-gravity suit have been created (to the effect implied). Still, calling it something else would be proper. Not that it would be the end of the world, but it is better to actively counteract the misuse of terms rather than passively let it pollute the language. Incidently what you've been talking about is Fres = 0, meaning the sum of the forces acting upon the object. Gravity is one of them. While the gravitational force is counteracted it is still present, hence it is not a zero-gravity suit. A zero-gravity suit would effect gravity in a much more profound way.
Neither the mass of the lead curtain nor the effect of gravity on it is gone. Therefore it is not and I repeat not a zero-gravity suit. You're simply encouraging continued misuse of the language, something which degrades it and hurts its ability as a medium for concise as a well as meaningful communication.
The conditions under a dive in an airplane is said to be like a zero-gravity environment. It is not said it is zero-gravity. There is a huge difference and you're only degrading the language by encouraging misuse. That something is considered alike to zero-gravity is not the same as to say something is zero-gravity. Being weightless feels like zero-gravity because you cannot feel the effect of it, declaring something zero-gravity because you counteract the effect of gravity is stupid. It is like saying there is no bullets because I'm wearing kevlar! It is a zero-bullet vest, it causes bullets to magically disappear.
oh and only if the variance is a neatly bell-curve-shaped or otherwise have a high rise at the median. Otherwise you're completely fubared if your +-5 microsecond clocks have a bias for +2.
So adding together a bunch of imprecise measurements together and getting the median gives you greater precision?
No.
Well, it might, maybe, but you won't know. depending on the statistical variance and how it is spread. But you won't know it is precise, you can only say how likely you are to be precise. that's not the same thing.
Also, as I read it it collects and judges upon the time, whereafter it sets all the clocks to the median? Exactly how does this counteract drift? How long does it wait between updates? For how long does it collect samples? What they're doing is that they're collecting a number of samples, hoping that their variance is spread evenly, thus the median must be the precise time. Fun fact: that only increase the precision (and quite a bit!) if you collect an near-infinite amount of samples. I really do doubt they have a near-infinite amount of computer clocks.
Incidently, no. "xxx" comes from old wordfilters on school nets, where blacklisted words were replaced by x's instead. Guess what sex got replaced with? Yup, "xxx".
I'm no genius but even if that feature was not present the DRM should still be reasonably crackable. Or am I wrong? Sniff the traffic, emulate the DRM-related responses and fool the game to think it is connected? It is not like they're using a magic beam to transmit data.
Of course I can see the problem in that the line is probably encrypted, but the fact is that you're sitting on Alice while she's talking to Bob. I simply don't see why an internet server should make the DRM that much harder to break.
Please, enlighten me on where I am wrong:(

oh, but could God crap in a place God have intelligently designed to be impossible to crap in?
Oh, so buoyancy == zero-gravity too? That's the same as saying that I'm currently zero-gravity because I'm not sinking through the ground.
Incidently yes I can. Look it up. Incidentally is an obsolete form of the same word.

You imply God needs septic facilities.
