Personally I got tired of the normal laptop bags and bought a backpack from L.L. Bean. It holds a laptop with 17" wide screen with no problem. It's very comfortable to wear and if you have to run, your laptop is very secure in a padded pocket inside against your back so it doesn't move.
Plus there is loads of room inside for other things. On one outing I had the following in the bag:
1 x HP Notebook 1 x 802.11g Access Point (Netgear, in the box) 2 x Wireless PCMCIA cards (In boxes) 1 x wifi card for my notebook 2 x network cables (25' each) 1 x Palmpilot 1 x Mobile phone 1 x Notebook and other assorted mobile office goodies
And, there were misc other things in there. Yes, it was a near spine breaking adventure, but it just goes to show how much they can hold. I love it so much I wish I bought 2, this one will wear out and having to wait for a replacement will really suck.
Actually I've had a similar experience with Yahoo, that was my reason for dumping it, and proudly using Trillian Pro. Everytime the ad banner in yahoo would change it would grab my cursor focus and place it on the ad, if I hit space or enter (things you do frequently while typing) it would launch a browser window to so me the ad. That did it for me to dump yahoo!
If Yahoo wants to lock out 3rd party IM's fine. I'll nuke my yahoo accounts, and go one step more and start blocking ALL email to my server from Yahoo users. Harsh? Sure, why should I allow Yahoo to profit from my server and it's resources. Every email from Yahoo has an add at the bottom, I don't seem to recall getting a cut of the profits to carry those ads for Yahoo!! I suggest others do the same. If MSN does as it plans on Oct 15, then I will block email from MSN and Hotmail too and close those accounts also.
It's just yet another way for Sony to show it's love for it's customers. I personal will never buy any copy protected CD. I have had it in general with Sony, they are the most uncaring and anti-customer oriented. I recently had to replace a hard disk in my laptop (Sony Vaio) I was seeking some technical information about the laptop and dismantling instructions from them. Their reponse was "We never give out techincal information about what we sell. If it needs repairing we will be happy to do the work for you." Nice. So, this is just one more reason for me to boycott Sony forever!
I have refusing email from all Asian sites for about 3 years now, it's only come a bigger problem in the last year or so. For the few friends I have in that area I allow their messages to get through Sendmails filters, otherwise all of that part of the world (including anything that had or has to do with Russia in it's previous or current form are also blocked, same reason). It's shame really, the Internet use to be a nice friendly happy place at one time.

I have to agree with you. I'm right pissed at Yahoo. I even started a Yahoo group :) to protest how much I think they suck!
Join the protest at:

I think it's fitting to have the protest on their own site!
