How long will the hard drives last

The last time that I used a hard time, you should be trying to avoid knocks, bumps, and high G's.
Last time I checked, this is what cops do when they are trying to catch someone. I can see it now, "Oh we saw that the person we were going after throw the gun out the window back on Main street. Let's look at the tape so we can remember where."
How can you have an invasion of privacy. You are out in public, on a public road. I could place my video on the side of the road and record people and not be invading anyones privacy.
Besides departments are currently recording people now but on VHS tape. Hopefully with the hard drives could be able to record better quality then the tapes that are used over and over.
No there is benefits to the digital screen and having it would draw people to your screens then to another and I feel that those theaters would be able to charge a little bit more if they wanted to and still get the draw. They want the sharper picture with no errors. Look at how many people here drove miles just to see it in digital. Plus as more and more theaters get digital projectors and the distance to an all digital theater is only 10 miles or so, I feel people will only want to go digital so they can see the movie without being distracted from the errors on the film even if it means paying a little more.
If you want another example, why don't we see as many theaters that only have Dolby Pro-Logic or Stereo? Just about all of the major ones are at least Dolby Digital or THX because people wanted it. Shoot, my system at home is Dolby Digital because I want the better quality that digital gives.
You can use the names that we used tho it maked little sense. The NT boxes started with NT and then a number and the UNIX (Solaris) boxes where named sol and a number.
It was loads of fun to say. "sol024 is down again. Gods we are SOL now."
It is just a shame that the NT boxes are the ones that are down more.
