The value of a presentation is that you can adjust what you say to meet the needs of your audience and you can answer any questions that they have (a written report can't do either of these). One final note: you're the star of the show. If you use PowerPoint slides (and we all do), their job is support the words that you say -- not take over the stage. Limit the number of slides that you use and minimize the number of words that each slide has...
