Zarf... I must disagree. The more I watch it the deeper I realize this movie is, it plays on at least 3 different levels. Yes one is for Kids, one is pop entertainment, and one is for the hardcore. I hated Jar-Jar at first too, but it is a mistake to ignore him, he plays a crucial role in this episode, and he is smarter than most give him credit for, just very clumsy. My 4yo loves it too! Which is cool for me, we can both watch it and enjoy it. He see's one story and I another. Let's assume he just does Eps 1-6, I believe 20 yrs from now Ep 1 will be considered one of the top 2.
Lol... well when I heard there was no DVD or until 1-3 were released I found that hard to believe. I wish I'd placed a bet on the DVD, I knew it was coming. Unlike you however, I willingly was raped!!! I can't tell you how many times I have watched the tape already, and I can't wait to buy the DVD... $40 bucks, small price to pay for what I am becoming to believe may be the best Star Wars episode yet! Oh... yes Lucas is a genius! He proved it 1977 and continues to prove it everyday since! Btw... first post here, be gentle... lol
