The site refers to a package that supports one analog phone line- as in one incoming number from a normal phone company, not just one handset.
Also, that's just the default for that particular package- you can twiddle the number of analog lines you wish to support when you click the "Customize it" button (we do up to 8 individual incoming lines, and usually recommend a T1 for customers that need to support more than that).
And no, you're not buying digital phones like with a traditional PBX, you're buying VOIP phones. You can use any SIP phone, regular analog phones with ATAs (analog telephone adapter), or you can use desktop SIP software (a softphone) to work with the system. We sell 3 different SIP phones and a couple of ATAs, and if you buy them from us, we pre-configure them to work with your server.

fair amount of hardware out there that doesn't play well with the high
interrupt rate of the telephony cards we use. By bundling it with the
hardware we can guarantee that everything works, and we can work on
shipping with the kernel tuned specifically for our hardware.
However, we do get a lot of requests for different hardware, so it's
very likely that we'll have a rackmount offering, and probably a
RAID+redundant power supply multi-proc beast in the near future.
I have been using paypal's webshop stuff for about 6 months for my store and it so far seems to be reliable very very doable for a small hobby/business like mine. Its just me here, selling the stuff I make and not wanting to worry about processing credit cards. That is not my core competancy, it is, however, paypal's. I also jumped through some hoops to verify some extra accounts and now have my business account set up as a money market account. So now the money I make selling my jewelry online earns monthly interest. This pleases me. I have also never had any trouble scooping out those funds and electronically transferring them to my normal checking account at Wells Fargo. They seem to be a careful business, and the only complaint that I ever got from a customer was that PayPal can be pretty picky about verifying credit card accounts. This seems like a small price to pay for added security.
Apparently you have never had to travel much with a pda, cell phone AND a portable MP3 player. I have-It sucks. I can't wait for the day that I have one little device that can handle all of that. Be even better if this little critter were net connected so it could stream all my tracks from my My.MP3.com account. Say goodbye to my backpack full o' cds!
