what is with the WV bashing going on here? i happen to be from WV, and am proud to say so.
also, someone always mentions Sen. Byrd when it comes to big government project, and it is always in a negative manner. yes he does bring in big money projects to this state, and yes, sometimes they are questionable, i.e. the Cost Guard thing, but he is doing his job. he is supposed to protect the interests of his state, and if that means trying to bring in big money projects like the GBT, then so be it. that is why he keeps getting voted into office.
