With the minimal hardware requirements needed by Linux, why cant we load up these old boxes and GIVE them to inner city kids who CAN'T AFFORD anything else. Not only would we be giving something to the advancement of these children but breeding new Linux lovers and penguin biased users (as opposed to WinKids). Take a lesson from the tobacco industry, aim for the young-they are our future.
Now if we could only convince a financially stable ISP to donate dial-up accounts with the boxes under say a charity premis... can u say 'writeoff'!?
