A quick correction: the majority of our staff in the Washington,DC office are married and some have even found the time to raise families. The Cambridge office has a bit younger group, and so a different demographic.
This is Harry Greenspun, Philip's brother and VP of healthcare for ArsDigita (and de facto VP of sales).
If I appeared arrogant, I certainly apologize. It was unintentional. We would love to be able to spend enough time with every potential client to understand their business deeply and provide thoughtful feedback. Regretably, with the number of inquiries we get, that's just not possible as it would take too much of our developers' time away from client, toolkit, and foundation projects. Therefore, it is my job to screen prospects as quickly, efficiently, and politely as possible to find the ones with the most interesting projects and the greatest likelihood of success (more important than ever now that we have VC's to answer to). It is an imperfect, but improving, system.
Without knowing who you are or when we met, though, it's impossible for me to address your concerns here. However, I'd be happy to speak with you anytime (617-386-4117) since based upon your remarks, we clearly misunderstood each other.
