This reminds me of DemoLinux, but with less functionality (which may be a good thing). If it has a working X server, it seems like it would be pretty nice for most uses-- put the apps on a central server, have users run them from there. I think my mother would like one too... The simplicity would certainly appeal to her. Oh yeah, the URL for demolinux is http://www.demolinux.org/ but I'm too lazy to figure out the link syntax here.
Seems like it would be fairly easy to write some sort of ssh solution. Can ssh be used with services without a password?
