    Not accurate.

Personally, Harry Browne is against abortion.

However, he believes that the federal government should not make any law one way or the other pertaining to abortion, because there is nothing in the Constitution pertaining to abortion one way or the other.

That makes me wonder if he would want to see Roe V. Wade overturned on the grounds that it puts undue restrictions on the laws states can pass.

The short answer is yes. True communism would mean that everyone gives up all their posessions for use by the whole community. Unfortunately this only works if nobody in the entire community has any greed. This can be done freely (See the Acts of the Apostles, FWIW) or by force (all modern "communist" nations, where the wealth got concentrated with the ruling class anyway).

Oh, that's nothing compared to what our Engineering Department did to us.

I had my freshman Intro to Programming class in C. MSVC, but still C since it was an intro class. (I feel sorry for the non-electrical engineers who had to take it in Visual Basic!)

Then, the next year, all of us who want to take the BRAND NEW Computer Engineering Curriculum take a class called Software Methodologies.
This class (and pretty much all subsequent ones) are now in Java.

That means all our knowledge of pointers is now null and void, and in addition we have to learn the language as we write a VERY large project. Needless to say, mine didn't work. (Still got an A because it almost worked though... fuzzy grading I guess)

In the CS department, my Data Structures class was in Java, but Operating Systems has so far been in C. There might be others involved, like maybe Fortran, as we might actually get to use our VAX for something more than a Web page storage system. I don't know yet. Ask me next week.

Of course, for Senior Design, we can use ALGOL-60 if it works for our project. It would be a bit tough to create an object-oriented GUI from that, though.

I'm actually now undecided between Harry Browne or Ralph Nader. The problem is I don't know whether to choose between strict adherence to the Constitution, or strong government controls on corporations.

That is, if I can vote at all... I've already registered in Indiana, but I go to college in Wisconsin. There's no chance of me getting to an Indiana Clerk's Office to vote absentee, but I don't know if I'm allowed to re-register in Wisconsin.

One thing is certain, though: Al Gore is the worst choice for President there could possibly be.
