I personally received 3 copies of this email today at work.
This really puts me in a moral dilemma being a Christian and Star Wars fan: do I tell the truth as to what my religion is, or lie and help the number of Jedi responses reach 8000, making it an official religion?
My first and middle names are Simon and Theodore respectively, so the nickname I use is alvin, of Alvin and the Chipmunks fame. Unfortunately this is often taken (such as on this site), and so I'll then probaly use darkpurpleblob, which I made up one day, or more simply, theblob.
In high school, some friends thought that I (supposedly) looked like David Letterman, hence Dave was also a nickname of mine. Now if you remember, Dave was the father of the three chipmunks...

Does anyone happen to know if you can use the other sections of Google (e.g. news, images etc.)?
From the FAQ:
Can Google APIs be used to access Google Groups? Image search? Directory search?
No. The Google Web APIs service can only be used to search Google's main index of 2 billion Web pages.
