    When you have as many things "connected" as you do plugged in, ISP's should be considered a utility. When having a safe, fast and reliable internet connection is increasingly as important as having a phone line or electricity, these companies should be regulated in similar ways. The electric company isn't allowed to charge some people more because they run a certain business. Gas companies shouldn't be allowed to offer better gas for certain customers.

    It's not about helping them with their homework, it's about teaching them how to solve problems for themselves. Helping them to find their own solutions!

    Show me the piece of hardware or software that can push a child to reach their full potential. If every person who feels like teaching is such a great deal had to do the job themselves for a year or two there wouldn't be so many people making those statements.

    You may get evaluated, but your evaluation isn't public domain it's private! Not to mention you can not judge a teacher solely on a test score.

    E-books are just a tool to engage those students who would otherwise not read. Start worrying when the kids aren't reading at all.
