    The premise for the suit is quite creative. And absurd. Its only chance is finding a sympathetic (read: nationalistic) jury. I guess it's worth a shot considering all the protectionist rhetoric that was thrown around during this election cycle.

    Right now, Cortana is annoying in many ways. But a specific way that this is make worse is that she answers on all devices in earshot. So if you have an xbox, pc, and phone running cortana and say "Hey Cortana" it answers on all three and tries to take actions on all three... very annoying.

    The most annoying thing about Cortana is she can't take no for an answer. She's always pooping up saying hey did you know I can do this shit? You tell her to go away and she keeps coming back. Hmmm, maybe I could put in a harassment claim against her.

    OK, so you think the BBC have a contract stopping it? With who? Clarkson, Amazon or the rest of the world? When all this shit went down that got Clarkson sacked, you know he didn't actually get sacked, just didn't get his Top Gear contract renewed, no new contracts were imposed and they're obviously not under any kind of non compete or the show wouldn't have got made in the first place. So, what kind of contract would the BBC have that would stop Amazon from rolling out their own service under their own timetable? Do you think maybe they are strongarming the governments of Canada and that to not allow The Grand Tour to be shown so they can push new Top Gear? Do you think maybe they are holding Bake Off and Eastenders as leverage or something? Maybe you have insider knowledge on the BBC contacts, are you Tony Hall?

    The BBC have nothing to do with Clarkson et al, nothing to do with Amazon, nothing to with The Grand Tour and nothing to do with internet distribution for anyone but themselves. So please, enlighten my ignorance and explain how the BBC could be doing anything to positively or negatively affect this endeavour, especially in regards to its internet broadcast the 199 countries they have even less relevance in.

    Unless you have a reason for them needing to speak this language, other than to exclude local talent then this will fall flat on it's face. You can't just put on the job listing that you need the person to speak klingon because you want someone to talk star trek with.

    I do appreciate the way they are touting it as a global show, different country each week and all that, but apparently unless you actually live in the US you can go fuck yourself.

    The plan is to stream it in 200 countries. The BBC is probably being a PITA about distribution.

    What does the BBC have to do with anything?

    Well, instead of paying for 10 - 10.00 a month subscriptions to watch what you want commercial free, you can instead pay 200 bucks a month for hundreds of ad infested channels spewing tons of unwatchable crap.

    it's called cable television!

    Or you can just go to tpb and get the pick of the worldwide crop for free.

    Not only that, but the Prime Video system has components in place that let them rent/sell individual episodes of a series. Why not set a price and take people's money? Obviously people out there like it, but it's not worth $99 for 1 year's worth of temporary access.

    haha they'll probably put it at a tenner an episode so you end up paying 120 if you want them all....and you only get to watch them for a week

    A pizza is also not a savoury pie. Using "pie" to mean pizza is almost as bad as, say, using the word "deuce" to refer to anything other than the playing card.

    There is only one thing a food needs to be to be considering a pie. And that is to be called a pie by a significant number of people. And pizza clearly meets that definition.

    A subset of Americans doesn't constitute a significant number of people. A pizza is not a pie evidenced by the fact it is a pizza. Just because some people in one country call them pizza pies does not a pie make.
