I use PayPal (very often for buying on eBay). If I need to look at a transaction or contact a seller on eBay, I use PayPal's transaction history to get the information as it goes back far longer than eBay does.
I bank in the UK with Cooperative bank and can access 2 years worth of statements for each of my accounts just by logging on in the normal way.
