Hell, I noticed that Iowa was a toss up state and changed my vote. I was going to vote for Nader if Iowa was leaning toward Bush or Gore. Originally Iowa was leaning towards Gore so I was going to vote for Nader. Once Iowa was very close, I decided to instead vote for Gore. I'm sure glad I did.
It sure would/will suck to have Reagan in office again.
Here's why?
1. I don't think this technology could ever work. It takes to much effort on the end consumer to have SDMI complient software and hardware.
2. The fact that there was a boycott AND that if the schemes were all cracked that should make an even stronger statement.
3. If SDMI decided to implement a scheme even after all of this hoopla then I believe they will be wasting a lot of time and money. This is also good in that it keeps them occupied chasing rabbits rather than doing something bad that is actually possible.
I'm currently mid way into this book. Everything the review says seems pretty accurate to me. I actually found some of the more mathematically challenging sections to be interesting. Anyone with a math or science background will definitely love this book!
