Brazilian politics are really boneheads. We managed to create a very ambitiuous and sucessful alternative fuel program just to drop the ball. 15 years ago the major part of car produced in Brazil were alcohol powered and we had a support infrastructure that covered every point of the country (it's really simple, just put alcohol in gasoline reservatories and pumps). But now the program is almost dead. Damn burocrats. The biggset problem of our country is the lack of vision. We could be virtually independent of oil cartel but the burocrats managed to ruin it all.
