Please do not force your user into using whatever browser you can get your application to run correctly in. Your application should work in whatever browser(s) your target uses. If it's IE6 (I'm really sorry if it is) then it needs to work in IE6.

Typically I would recommend all IE versions as well as Firefox (Windows & Mac) and Safari.
