It's hard to believe that folks are so dumb. Hitting the local Mom and pop shop just doesn't accomplish anything. If you want to have an effect hit General Motors. Even at that point you're not going to effect much and for the exact same reason hitting the the local dealer isn't going to effect much. PEOPLE BUY SUV's. Think that your terrorist act is going to drive up the price so that people can't afford them? Gas is almost $2 gallon, most SUV's have 30+ and get about 15 miles to the gallon making most SUV owner cough up $60 to $120 a week just on gasoline. You'll also find it hard to price an SUV under $25,000 and most run 35 to 50. The people who buy these cars buy them almost solely for ego. They are just stupid trying to make stupide people do smart things isn't very effective. Drive the price up and they have more reason to buy them. Am I infavor of Eco-terrorism... absolutely. But let's try this for a change...
Next time you see one or two people get out of a Suburban, a Yukon, a Durango, or some such thing, look and see if they are actually hauling large quanities of stuff. If the back of that thing isn't completely filled ask them why they felt the urge to drive it. If they fail to provide decent answer beat them bloody, slash all thier tires, and set the vehicle on fire. Anything less than that and you're coward.
Ecology is about people and if you find violence against a person abhorable, you might want to think twice about violence against systems that are composed of people.
hmmm... but systems that are composed of people turn people into objects therefor they are no longer people so destroying them isn't hurting people... hmm seems I've got a bit of a problem here.
Got it! Everytime you get frustrated because your compassion for humanity causes you to want to destroy it, remember that you are human!
