  1. Guilty's favorite Anime on Essential Anime · · Score: 1

Boy, I bet you started a war here. Titles I think *any* anime fan should check out, based on genre: Comedy: Urusei Yatsura, hands down. It's a bit older than 'Ranma 1/2', but is widely considered to be well written and coherent as well as agognizingly funny. Adventure: Slayers (And Slayers Try and Next...) Swords and Sorcery with a high-powered kick. It's funny as hell, and just as exciting. Shojo Kakume Utena Romance: Kodomo no Omocha Marmalade Boy Science Fiction: Tenchi Muyo (duh..) Ramune vs Fire40

So basically, this is a souped up memory expansion board with its own power supply and software that does essentially the same thing as ramdrive? Can platypus offer any kind of discount that makes this cheaper or more attractive than just buying extra dimms and configuring said virtual drive software? I mean... I've already got my PC on a UPS... This is one of those technologies that boils down quite a bit when you analyze it. Try again, fellers...

Hmmm... sounds like a case of MSism to me. Our OS is good for everything! We swear! The right tool for the right job, I always say. If AtheOS turns out to be a better tool for certain tasks (which it hasn't, *yet*. Look at BEos)... say Graphics editing or video manipulation... or even PDA's, Linux should fall by the wayside. Survival of the fittest, y'all...

This is getting lame, quick. *Every* major peice of computer litigation and/or legal difficulty right now is centered on copyright disputes. The corporations are using copyright laws to try to regulate thought! Corporations just don't want control of their product, they want control over anyone who uses their product! It's gotta end, people!
