    Actually, KDevelop, Anjuita, SourceNavigator, Kylix are pretty good IDE for linux. And MSVS compared to Borland IDE (CodeGear now) sucks, to say it plainly.

    Then i will follow John Maddog's example. Will buy a satellite, will subscribe to the most watched channels, will record all the shows, and then will sell the subscription to any neighbor, willing to pay me $5 for unlimited access, any time, any speed.

    Wait a minute, don't touch the multi billion movies, pleeeeease. How could i reason with myself, going to IMAX, and giving them 16 bucks otherwise? Nevertheless, there is a market for the overpriced movies, but only if they are worth watching, and if the sound and the picture are of the best quality.

    False statement. Even if you provide gigabit connections to homes, it is technically impossible for our current equipment to utilize such an amount of information. Nevertheless, if there were not so many restrictions and monopolies and regulations, even with the pool of 1000 homes willing to pay reasonable price for fiber, it is economically feasible to actually make their dreams come true. And i am talking from experience......

    Or like paying for SMS? Do you know what is the cost of sending one SMS for the cell company? I will enlighten you, it is ZERO. Actually, it is even better, it is bellow zero, because the SMS is considered to be a "garbage" in their terms. So, translated, you are paying for a garbage.....nice move telecoms, very nice move.

    Actually, you are making one very honest, but very big mistake. You think that the next generation are just like you, they know what TV is, they like it, they watch it. Which is, simply said, not true. They are different, they are interested in different kind of entertainment, in different model of media, i could say. So, with other words, in your lifetime, say the next 10 years, there will be a great shift and changes of what media is, how to distribute it, how to pay it, and that model is simply not compatible with the current one.

    Me, They lost ME. I already stopped watching TV, and now do you think that i would go back the stupid TV shows? Noooo, just forget it. At the end they will loose both revenues, from the web and from the TiVo boxes. Which is actually good, they will go broke, and then we will have new players.

    The motherboard i bought was supporting 125W CPUs. After 3 years of changing fans, power supply (2), hard disks (every time i installed second disk, it got burned after some 6 months), video cards (2, but at least they did not burn), i decided that enough is enough, and i would never ever buy such a heating monster again. My feelings is that it is not about heating, but that too much power coming to the motherboard is simply said too much.

    Yes they do. Some 2-3 years ago they introduced 125W CPU's. Nowadays, if you bother to check the motherboard's specification, they always explicitly say that they have some upper limit, say 95W for example. Did anyone confess that their CPU's are burning your system? Literally. Even my power supply was burned by this CPU, and it was supposed to have an life guarantee, go figure out.

    In my country, Canada, and it is the same for USA, and i suppose it should be the same for Australia and England, we have the very convenient thing called "small claims court", in which you don't need lawyer, you could defend yourself, the process is mostly informal, and the maximum reward is only 25 000 CAD (in Canada). The good thing is that you don't need lawyer, and they don't need lawyer too, translated, they are loosing their best weapon, a good and well paid lawyer. And you could question them directly, under oath, which means that in most cases all you will hear will be: I DON'T KNOW, I AM NOT SURE, I DON'T REMEMBER. And just to finish, no, it is not about 100-200 CAD, it is about 25 000 CAD for all the reasons that i already mentioned before. In the best case scenario (they don't appear because of too many people suing them) i would be granted 25 000 CAD.

    Bad move from your side. You should have document it, and sorry, but no phone calls. Always use mail, registered. And then when you got no answer from them, just go to small claims court, and if they don't appear or try to defend themselves, then only based on the given documents (accusations, mails, etc), you will receive some nice compensation.
