cept i think the comments were more interesting than the article itself...
I use rpm alot and it really annoys me sometimes..i do agree with the fact that configuration should be based in the program itself and for there to be a default config and be able to reconfig within the program...
packet management is exactly that managing packages and making sure their in the right place and all dependencies are accounted for...not to be messing around with config files within the actual programs i think thats beyond the scope and function of packet management...
i sure would like it if someone would do something about the dependency problems that crop up when ur installing packages...at least link us to where we can find the dependencies heh...
All in all rpm and apt are a god send...especially for newbies but the can really be a pain in the neck sometimes...and the fact that when u wanna update packages u have to download the entire binary again maybe slightly bigger...patching anyone??

Wow a miscrosoft update how original.... that alone wont solve the problem...they need to raise the awareness of the user...they dont quite see the massive gaping security holes that microsoft leave in their excellently produced programs!!!(ahem sarcasm all around) lovely! bring on the updates EVIL EMPIRE!
Im surprised there was no website of the company actually writing B&W...Ive heard about the game a couple of times off people on Unreal Networks. Its one of those 3d multiplayer adventure games....i think its similar to Everquest but i havent had time to read about it on their website....busy as usual...anyways it sounds like an interesting game by Lionhead and im glad game developers(like that 3dJet games engine) are starting to participate in some sort of open source even if it is just a small step...GOOD ON YAH!!!! have fun....
