They do offer a SPAM header tagging or blocking system you can ask for to be applied to your e-mail account. It uses several blocklist to tag your mail so you can filter it to a special folder (if you'd want to do that). If you choose blocking than those e-mails never arrive in your mailbox in the first place.
It's not that a movie is in theaters for 9 months.
It means that a movie cannot be released on DVD/VHS earlier than 9 months after it has started playing in theaters. E.g. a movie starts playing on January 1, then it cannot be relased on DVD/VHS until September 9.
Here in the Netherlands, we get DVD releases which are combined French/Dutch releases. Gladiator which was also released here a couple of weeks ago, won't be released in France for a couple of month yet!!

Hotmail has been doing something similar for quite a while.. I can't use my last name on Hotmail because it has root in it.. (groot is my last name)
