I totally agree with encryption... if you really want encryption, then the encryption should be in the client browser before it goes to network.
I'm using http://fonet.mobi/ for email encryption with my own password and have to send my password key to recipient in order to decrypt the message.
Hi guys
I'm already using this site http://fonet.mobi/ which allows me to connect to couple of web sites using Oauth.
this web sites don't store your credentials also as you always enter your user id and password at the original( (like facebook, linkedIn etc) web site and after authentication, the original web site redirects you back to this web site http://fonet.mobi./ After the first authentication from the original web site, it never sends back to original web site( unless you change your password at the original web site) and it pull your data from web site.
I'm already using couple of web site like facebook, linkedIn, twitter, Picasa, Google calendar etc. Its very conveneint as I don't have to enter my password any more.
They also have setting where I can remove my oAuth token from this web site.
Not only that, They have one page where they display my profile from difference site to a single page and my friends don't have to search my profile to so many web sites as they can all my profile at single page.
I'm very impressed with this web site.
Another thing, this is a mobile web site and it doesn't have any advertisement also.
If you haven't tried this web site, you should try it once.
I also don't any application as they may be sending my phone data to any third party server just like APPLE/ANDROID. I always like web based application which can be access from any phone or PC. Even you loose your phone but your data is maintain at the server. Currently, I'm already using such a web based application http://fonet.mobi/ which has lots of feature like sign sing-on to linkedIn, google Buzz, facebook, twitter etc, maintain your contacts, mini blog, bookmarks, rss feeds etc etc...I can't describe all the features.. its worth to check it out. They may not have very nice interface like iphone but its works very well on many phone.
To say the business cards are "old school" - or whatever is sort of naive. Okay - so what's the alternative? None that I know of. Granted, people don't keep "Rolodexes" anymore (those are too old-school). Considering they use PIMs, Outlook, iPhones, whatever - they key is integrating the two.
What would seem to make a hell of a lot of sense to me, would be if there was some sort of a standard for putting those 2D barcodes on the back of a business card, so people could quickly load them into their phone or PC via camera scanner software.
Yea, maybe then business cards could be obsolete I guess, in that someone could flash their card, and one could just scan it with their phone. (As opposed to physically needing to give someone a card).
You can use http://fonet.mobi/ to display your contact information as 2D code and another user can his smartphone to read the 2d code and save the data as CSV file. after that you load the file in your contact file directly.
I'm already using a mobile web site http://fonet.mobi/ which allows me to login to multiple web site like Google docs, flickr, youtube, picasa, linkedIn twitter etc without log-in multiple times . I have to login to their web site and link all my websites using Oauth technology.
Is there any web site which provide a single interface and integrated to all the social web site?
I'll always prefer a single interface for all these web site instead of going there and remember my ids.

I have to login to this web site only and link my accounts. Once I links my accounts, I don't have to login anywhere and I can see all the friends comments/feeds. It has lots of ohttp://tech.slashdot.org/story/10/07/12/1635200/New-Google-Research-On-Social-Networks#ther features also like centralize address book, grocery card management etc.
