Interestingly, I was having a conversation with a UMass BSIT student about cloud computing yesterday. We were talking about SaaS. It's been around for a while but now its all the rage, its got a cool hip name, cool companies like Google are pushing it. What's striking about it is that how we're being sold on the idea that it is the next best thing. Seems a lot like what we're discussing here today.
