You know if Microsoft had all of that money and stock set aside ($1.5 billion just for employee retention) and didn't buy Yahoo!, they are going to buy someone else. AOL makes sense and the price is right, as Time Warner wants nothing to do with them.
My first computer was also an IBM PC Jr. A robust 384K of extended RAM, with BASIC on cartridges and DOS 2.1 on 5.25" floppies. I can hear the beeps of King's Quest now...
Nextel's only work with Motorola equipment because Motorola is the company that invented Nextel's iDEN network. Also, if I remember correctly, about 3-4 years ago, Motorola bought a signficant part of Nextel. Brilliant idea. Buy a cell phone company, use a network you invented, and make it only use your phones. First they make PowerPCs, then Nextel. Anybody know how much stock in this company costs?
how can you celebrate pi day at 13:59? Those of us true pi lovers will be up at 1:59 (1:59 AM, for all you 12 hour day sissies!) celebrating pi at it's proper time of the day!
