Netflix first offered to put a CDN within the Verizon network, at Verizon's cost. Saying "Here, take my rackmount server and stick it in your network, but I'm not going to pay you your rate for hosting a data intensive colocated server". Fuck that.
And, not, technically speaking, that is not throttling and paid prioritization. It may be in spirit, I don't deny that, but it's also something that you can't really police. You can't force companies to upgrade all of their peers to maximum incoming and outgoing bandwidth at their own cost. It's not an industry practice, it's not lawful, it's not reasonable.
If I want to guarantee a level of service to a certain customer I buy space within the specific network's data center. If I want to guarantee general connectivity, I stick it in random data center built out of a former Sear's Auto Center hooked up to some commercial cable network
This is a frivolous suit. The net neutrality rules have nothing to do with peering, they have everything to do with throttling. There is no throttling here, only a service provider that is hosted in low grade facilities with low grade connections because they won't pay to be on major network
Doesn't seem to be directly C++ on Android, rather it's converted. It's just that the tools exist to convert C++ to Java and allow them to manage a single codebase.
They don't claim best tool, you did. They made something based on the skillset they possess and the requirements in front of them. The fact that C++, a powerful, flexible language, has the tools available isn't a bad thing. I'm not sure why you would think it was
Yes, it's still there, just like you can find goth shit at Hot Topic still, but it's no longer the focus of the store and generally buried behind mounds of licensed merch.
Front page and focus of the store to back page and afterthought.
Have you been on ThinkGeek lately? It's basically the modern Hot Topic in internet form. The front page of both websites contains Doctor Who, Marvel, Minecraft, Star Wars, and a number of other primary properties. The days of USB rocket launchers are in the past. Hot Topic was a great buyer for ThinkGeek(and awful for all of the other properties). Much better than GameStop from that perspective
Yes, plugged in to a USB 2.0 slot on my computer charging my phone. I never stated overtly or insinuated that I had a type A slot on my phone. That's stupid and ridiculous.
Again, OP said USB 3.0 cables don't work on USB 2.0 slots. The default cable type is type A, with special non-standard connectors on the other end for nearly every major manufacturer. Without specifying a specific type, the only assumption to be made is type A, and type A is backward compatible.
OP said: Probably Apple looked at what they did for USB 3.0 and decided it was fairly stupid, since now a USB 3.0 cable won't fit in anything other than USB 3 ports.
I said since when since my USB 3.0 cable works just fine in USB 2.0 ports. No one said anything about micro or mini.
? USB cables typically have A connectors on one end and another on the other end(in this case, micro B). USB 3.0 A works in standard USB 2 or USB 3 ports.

When did this happen? I've got a USB 3.0 cable plugged in to a USB 2.0 slot charging my phone right now.
What does "should" mean? In California, curriculum requirements include the history of the state, but that is not part of Common Core. Nationalized standards do not care about locale.
Standards drive the curriculum. Since teachers are graded off standards, anything not in standard is no longer in the curriculum. This is the fault of the standards, not the implementation.
Not upgrading is not actively impairing or degrading lawful internet traffic. It's stagnating. It's a lack of action.

Not really, settlement free peering has industry accepted practices.

I didn't say it did.

Indeed. My brain hurts. "Billboard Advertising" is a common term. Perhaps should have went with "Billboard displaying".

He didn't say mini

That's not Borland 4.5
? People don't use Matrox for linux? What year is it?
Professor Hathaway was apparently foiled again
I work in government, which is usually the last to get any new software. Basically everyone is on 2012 now.

"Some faults". You obviously don't have a kid in school. The only benefit of Common Core is that it's not the cancer that is Everyday Math
Speaking of Spock, it sounds like this planet is the Genesis device
Learn DataBASIC and you can work on PICK. All 15 companies that still sell PICK based products
Which is why you make it a carryon. That said, given 50-70$ fees for checked luggage, you can bet your ass you're still saving money
