You obviously haven't talked to the majority of photoshop users out there. They all like new tools but HATE when abode changes the interface. I'm not talking about geeks here but people who prefer to work with real materials. They shouldn't be forced to relearn an interface when all they really wanted was better color support.

Apple ported there last os over in a project named pink. It seams to me that they should only realise it (or rather the os x equivalent) if there hardware sales attempt to drive them out of business. As a last ditch effort they could release a copy of OS X for the x86 hardware.

  6. My experiance working with Covad and Verizon on Covad Faked DSL Trouble For Verizon? · · Score: 1

In my last job I worked with Covad against Verizon. I say against because a Verizon DSL installation is akin to pulling teeth. It's not unsual to have to send verizon 4 times to the same persons house because the first 3 tech's said "no trouble found" when the line has no cross-connects built yet. They will constantly steal working DSL lines to do repairs to voice (in there minds no dial tone means the line is up for grabs). To me this sounds like Verizon suing someone who accuratly discribed there level of service.

The differance between states is reduced with additional states. This could result in an increase in error. For example let's say the differance between colors is mesured in shade. In the old day's it was two shades between zero and one. With this new technology the differance between states is now only one shade apart (one shade from off to one and anouther from 1 to 2). If the entire disc darkens by a shade then no amount of phyical error correction would be able to tell the differnace between a one or a zero.
The change of color may not take place in the plastic itself but in the dye. In other words problems assosiated with changes in refletive proporties are most definatly increased by this new technology.

SO what your saying is that you only work in dial-up support. Sorry man, anyone can do 60 dial-up calls. DSL calls on the other hand are were you get raped. 30 - 45 a day is decent for tier 2. It's really a whole new ball game.
