  1. Powerpoint on Large-Scale Paper-To-Digital Conversion? · · Score: 1

As much as I hate to say it, I really hate having class notes that aren't in power point. Powerpoint allows me to search it very easily. It also has the added benifit that the professor can use the slides in next year's class which helps me to concentrate on the lectures. It's a really big pain, but I don't think there is any way around typing them by hand...

So, fold the people over too! NO doubt it will need a revamped system. Current jetways will not work for it either. The A380 series are also over the wingspan limit. So, we will be seeing more options soon.

  8. Re:The trouble with antimatter is... on Antimatter Propulsion · · Score: 1

Just as a computer was very cost prohibitive when it was started, this is also cost prohbitive in its start. Computers now save millions of dollars, make us more efficent, and give us many headaches.

This will be a start for the future of antimatter. We will have a better idea how to hanis the power, and know the problems with it. While it is quite costly to manufacture on Earth, there is a large amount of it in the universe. When/if we are able to capture it, we will have an extremly efficent machine.

R&D is expensive, but it has its grand rewards.
